About Cotswold Cohost
I started Cotswold Cohost because the houses I loved deserved better than they were getting.
Cotswold Cohost was built around a simple idea: the best homes deserve thoughtful, hands-on care from people who genuinely understand what ownership means.
Ten years ago, I rented out my first cottage. What I wanted was straightforward: someone who would treat the property with the same care I would, communicate properly, notice the small things before they became bigger ones, and understand the difference between simply managing a house and truly looking after it.
I couldn't find that balance, so I created it.
Today Cotswold Cohost looks after some of the loveliest homes in the Cotswolds, along with a growing collection in Devon. We work closely with owners to help their properties perform exceptionally well as short-term lets, while still feeling like homes first.
Our role is deliberately comprehensive. We present each property to a premium standard, market it across the booking platforms best suited to the home, price dynamically according to the market, communicate personally with guests throughout their stay, and oversee the day-to-day care of the property week after week.
None of those services are unusual on its own. The difference is in the consistency, the attention to detail, and the level of care given to homes that owners genuinely value.
Our team has grown to more than ten people, including dedicated housekeepers, a maintenance lead, and trusted local tradespeople. Every property has its own consistent housekeeping team because familiarity matters. The people looking after your home know it properly.
A few things we believe strongly in:
The owner always stays the owner. Your home remains yours to use whenever you want, for as long as you want. No restrictions, no block-out fees, and no sense that the property has become anything other than your home.
Our success should reflect yours. We operate on a revenue-share model rather than building profit through unnecessary add-ons or inflated operational fees. When your property performs well, so do we.
The right bookings matter more than constant bookings. High occupancy doesn't always mean the best outcome. Sometimes the right decision is a premium weekend booking with quieter midweek gaps. Sometimes it's a longer, slower-paced stay. Every property is different, and every owner's priorities are different too.
Communication should feel personal. We keep things straightforward. The first conversation is always just that — a conversation. No presentations or pressure, simply an honest discussion about your property, your goals, and whether we're the right fit to help you achieve them.
At its heart, Cotswold Cohost is about partnership: caring for homes properly, building long-term relationships with owners, and creating a level of trust that allows you to step back knowing your property is in safe hands.

What they say.
Kirsteen takes the weight of owning a second property off the owner's shoulders. She also gets the place booked out, even in the low season and when there are last-minute gaps, so it pays for itself and some. Best wishes, Tonia
I’ve been working with Kirsteen for a few months now and only wish I’d made the move years ago. I no longer worry about my property — it’s in proactive, caring hands with real attention given daily. Total peace of mind, and more business too
